Tutorial # 04: Practical Applications 1
In this tutorial we will dive into a more slightly complex scene that rely on several plugins classes. It will be shown how render passes can control various parts through the use of subcommands. More importantly, an efficient workflow for render passes will be demonstrated here.
Prerequisites: you should have gone through Tutorials # 01 through 03 and have read the Feature Walkthrough of the documentation.
Scene synopsis: A helicopter is spewing out smoke and sparks while it navigates through a dam. The pass requirements are the helicopter, the rotor (for a better motion blur), the dam, the sky, and one of the dam's tower that swipes across the camera during the animation. Furthermore, the Hypervoxel smoke and sparks are to be separated as well.
