Janus Modules: Pass Wizard. A Janus Module is a separate addition to Janus (sometimes compiled directly into Janus) that adds functionality to the existing system. In Pass Wizard pass creation is made much simpler due to its presentation. The user is asked about the current scene in step-by-step format and the Wizard interprets the user inputs to create passes in the main Janus system.

Also, Janus now supports partial overrides. Although at first glance it may mean nothing, partial overrides allow you to get into 'buffers' without resorting to buffer savers. For example, you can get a specular pass accurately, because Janus overrides all other surface channels except the specularity.
